Life cames with its fair share of problems

Life always has its problems, and we really cant live without them. Allah says: “Do you think you will enter Jannah without such (trials) as came those who passed away before you? They were afflicted with severe poverty and ailments and were so shaken that even the Messenger those who believed along with him said, “When (will come) the Help of Allah?” Yes! Certainly the Help of Allah is near! (2:214)

Allah also says: “And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to the patient” (2:155)

Knowing this, helps shift our perspective. We can now stop avoiding and bemoaning the problems Allah chooses to send our way. Stop feeling victimised by whats happening. Instead we can conciously work on the challenge of the moment by remembering that the Help of Allah is near!

When we make this shift in attitude, we will discover for ourselves the power of patience and acceptance, that comes from surrenering ourselves to Allah and acknowledging that in His Hands lies all things, good and bad.

Tick Tock

As proactive Muslimah’s its time to start caring about how you invest your time every day~ There might not be a tomorrow, not for all of us. Allah says: «No soul knows what it shall earn tomorrow, and no soul knows in what land it shall die. Surely, Allaah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.» [31:34]

Right now, someone on Earth is planning something for tomorrow without realizing they’re going to die today. This is sad but true. So spend your time wisely with a balance between Dunya and Aakhirah and pause long enough to appreciate the blessings in your life.

Remember, what you do every day matters more than what you do every once in awhile.  Narrated ‘Aisha (RA) : The Prophet (SAW) was asked, “What deeds are loved most by Allah?” He said, “The most regular constant deeds even though they may be few.” He added, ‘Don’t take upon yourselves, except the deeds which are within your ability.”  (Bukhari)

Use a time management system to take full advantage of things that happen, rather than have them controlling you. It may take little time to get where you want to be, but if you think for a moment, you will realize that you are no longer where you once were. Dont stop the good you are doing– keep going. You’re getting closer to your Aakhirah every day.

Take a hold of the Keys to your Happiness and Success

There is an Ayah of Quraan that says: “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another” (37:53)

We learn three important things from this verse:

Firstly, that every person is responsible for what they do; We are who we choose to be and we carry the actions we chose to do.

Also that the responsibility of a persons actions cannot be transferred to another unless they have a share in the act; Nobody’s going to come and save you, you’ve got to save yourself. Nobody’s going to give or take anything from you. You’ve got to go out there and earn it. The Angels on your shoulders are only going to write what YOU have done.

And finally, that even if a person wishes, they cannot take on the responsibility of another person’s act, nor can the actual person who did the action be let off, because another person is willing to suffer the punishment for the.

So at the end of the day nobody knows what you want except for you- And as Muslims the thing we want most in this world is to achieve Jannah and nobody will be as sorry as you if you don’t achieve it, because on the Day on Qiyamah, Allah says: ”That day shall a man flee fom his brother, and from his mother and his father, and from his wife and his children. Every man that Day will have enough to make him careless of others.” (80:34-37)

I want to end of saying that you should never leave your key to happiness an success in someone else’s pocket, nor wait on someone else to build your dream life for you, in this World nor the Aakhirah. Be the architect and keeper of your own happiness. The more you take responsibility for your past and present, and realise that Allah is watching you and the Angels beside you are recording everything you do, the more you will able to create the future you seek.

23. Allah has sent down the Best Statement, a Book, its parts resembling each other, (and) oft-repeated. The skins of those who fear their Lord shiver from it. Then their skin and their heart soften to the remembrance of Allah. That is the guidance of Allah. He guides therewith whom He wills; and whomever Allah sends astray, for him there is no guide. (Zumar:23)
